Hejnał [Bugle call], autograph sketch written in pencil on a four-page sheet of cream manuscript paper (P NO. 16 CONCERT 16 STAVES) measuring……..mm. The music, the theme only, is written on staves 2–10 on the fourth page. The other pages are blank (page 1 contains a six-bar sketch of another work and the date in the top right corner: 26.11.2015). Written about the first stave, on the left, Hejnał. On stave 6, the zig-zag deletion of a whole phrase, but with the notation visible underneath. This work contains a motif from another composition, Piotrada. It was composed to commission for the city of Rzeszów and became the city’s official bugle call. The manuscript is the property of Anna Stańko and is held at the Tomasz Stańko Foundation in Warsaw.
