Shaky Chica appears on Tales For a Girl, 12, and a Shaky Chica, recorded at Polish Radio’s S4 studio in Warsaw in 1991, in a duet with Janusz Skowron on synthesiser. The manuscript, signed Muz. Tomasz Stańko in the top right corner, is written in pencil on a 4-page sheet of white manuscript paper (PWM -12), 210×295 mm. On the first title page, Shaky Chica is written between staves 4 and 5, with the signature Muz. T. Stańko to the right. The music appears on page 2, notated between staves 2 and 10. The tempo (v. slow) and title (Shaky chika) are inscribed above the first bar and the first stave respectively, with the signature as on the title page: Muz. Tomasz Stańko. The theme and functions are written below. State of preservation: very good. There are no deletions or corrections. This work was composed before July 1991, recorded on the album Tales For a Girl, 12, and a Shaky Chica and released by JAM in 1991, but this manuscript certainly dates from a later period, after 2000. The manuscript is owned by Anna Stańko and held at the Tomasz Stańko Foundation in Warsaw.
